With Week 1 of the 2026 college football season just around the corner, plans are being made for one of the biggest Saturdays of the year.

On Friday, the SEC Network announced Week 1 stops for two of its pregame shows. While SEC Nation and Marty & McGee have traditionally originated from the same game, they’re splitting up on Sept. 5. SEC Nation will originate from Atlanta ahead of Auburn vs. Baylor. Marty & McGee will follow from Baton Rouge ahead of LSU vs. Clemson.

The SEC Network recently announced some changes to the Saturday morning lineup. As noted in the above announcement, SEC Nation will now air from 9 a.m. to noon ET. Marty & McGee previously preceded SEC Nation. The show now follows SEC Nation, airing from noon to 12:45 p.m. ET.

SEC Nation debuted its new lineup last month at SEC Media Days in Tampa. Matt Barrie now hosts, taking over for Laura Rutledge. Chase Daniel has joined the show, replacing Jordan Rodgers. Analysts Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper and Tim Tebow return for another season of SEC Nation.

Marty & McGee features Marty Smith and Ryan McGee. The two are also part of SEC Nation, though they won’t be at the same site for Week 1.
