SEC Network host Peter Burns predicts winner of LSU/Texas A&M showdown

SEC Network host Peter Burns makes predictions for many of the biggest SEC games throughout the season, and very few weeks have as many big games as this upcoming Saturday. One of the biggest games this weekend is LSU and Texas A&M, two teams that had College Football Playoff aspirations entering the season.
While they are still in contention, both teams took big hits to their chances in Week 3, as they lost their SEC openers. The Tigers lost to Ole Miss in the return game for Lane Kiffin. It was a competitive game, but the Rebels won it in the final minutes. However, the most shocking result was when Kentucky went to College Station and dominated the Aggies pretty much the entire game.
However, that loss isn’t making Burns lose all hope in the Tigers, as he is going with the Aggies to get the win at LSU.
“I have nightmares about them running fast enough at some point,” Burns said. “The third nightmare I have is what Marcell Reed does to LSU and Blake Baker’s defense right now. I think A&M wins that game. I think it ends up being 23-20, and there are going to be boo birds out for LSU if that offense doesn’t get rolling. I think they’re going to (tell) Marcell Reed, stop thinking, and just go out there and play ball.”
In two games against LSU in his career, Reed has rushed for 170 yards and five touchdowns, and changed both games with his rushing ability. Last year, it was the game at LSU where Reed delivered arguably the greatest performance of his career. He threw for more than 200 yards and rushed for more than 100 while totaling five touchdowns in the 49-25 victory last season.
