The SEC is starting to enter the heart of its schedule, and the contenders are starting to separate from the pretenders. With that, kickoff times and schedules are going to be changed each week.
On Sunday, the conference announced a couple of changes for Week 6, with Missouri/Texas A&M and Florida/South Carolina games both receiving broadcast updates:
Texas A&M was able to get back on the winning path with a 34-7 victory against Arkansas, however, no team had a bigger weekend than Missouri. The Tigers bounced back from a loss to Mississippi State with a dominating 45-17 victory over Florida. Austin Simmons put together one of the best games of his college career, finishing 23-of-30 for 340 yards and two touchdowns.
Kickoff for that game will be live in Columbia at 12 p.m. ET and the game will be on ABC.
South Carolina lost another brutal game in the SEC, losing to Kentucky, 35-34 in overtime. The Gamecocks were up 17-0 in the game, but once again were unable to get the job done. Florida was the talk of college football after the win against Ole Miss, but the Gators came back to earth in the loss to Missouri. Jadan Baugh had been outstanding to start the year, but he finished with 12 carries for 13 yards on Saturday
Kickoff from ‘The Swamp’ will be at 12:45 p.m. ET, and the game will be on the SEC Network.
