Arkansas’ Brandon Allen moves to the top of QB rankings after Week 11

Here is this week’s SEC quarterbacking top 10, with the usual shuffling, of course.
10. KYLER MURRAY, TEXAS A&M
Literally every week I do this list, whoever I put in this slot has something horrible happen to them. Welcome to hell, Kyler Murray.
Last week: 22-39, 191 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs; 7 carries, 50 yards
Season: 72-121, 686 yards, 5 TDs, 7 INTs; 53 carries, 335 yards, 1 TD
9. PATRICK TOWLES, KENTUCKY
10 completions for 67 yards. Against Vanderbilt. Yeah.
Last week: 10-26, 67 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT
Season: 180-322, 2,077 yards, 9 TDs, 13 INTs
8. GREYSON LAMBERT, GEORGIA
Lambert didn’t play well Saturday at Auburn, but also managed to avoid critical mistakes that might have caused UGA to blink and disappear. And I think it’s fair to say Georgia desperately needed a win Saturday.
Last week: 12-17, 97 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT
Season: 118-186, 1,437 yards, 10 TDs, 2 INTs
7. BRANDON HARRIS, LSU
Same song, second verse: Just like Alabama, Arkansas’ defense had an answer for Leonard Fournette. As in the Alabama game, Harris simply wasn’t good enough to keep them honest. And they still have to travel to face Ole Miss.
Last week: 21-35, 271 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Season: 102-182, 11 TDs, 2 INTs; 54 carries, 112 yards, 3 TDs
6. TREON HARRIS, FLORIDA
The last quarterback to lead Florida to the SEC Championship was Tim Tebow. Treon Harris probably won’t conjure up any memories of No. 15, but it’s worth noting.
Last week: 19-33, 256 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs; 10 carries, 16 yards
Season: 75-135, 1,109 yards, 6 TDs, 4 INT; 51 carries, 172 yards
5. JOSH DOBBS, TENNESSEE
The two remaining tests on his schedule — Missouri and Vanderbilt — will offer some resistance in the way of tough defenses. But Dobbs’ main goal for the rest of his regular season should be staying healthy and turning some heads during the holidays.
Last week: 15-23, 136 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT; 4 carries, 3 yards
Season: 162-274, 1,896 yards, 13 TD, 5 INTs; 113 carries, 476 yards, 7 TD
4. JAKE COKER, ALABAMA
Completed 100 percent of his handoffs to Derrick Henry on Saturday, and his one terrible interception wasn’t so bad that it put any real strain on his team’s defense. Also to his credit, he made at least one very good audible that led to Henry’s first long TD run.
Last week: 15-25, 144 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Season: 176-273, 1,952 yards, 12 TDs, 8 INTs
3. CHAD KELLY, OLE MISS
I’ll be honest, I’m really looking forward to Kelly’s two remaining battles in 2015 against LSU and Mississippi State. He’s capable of anything – in either direction.
Last week: Idle
Season: 237-361, 3,224 yards, 23 TD, 12 INT; 74 carries, 272 yards, 7 TDs
2. DAK PRESCOTT, MISSISSIPPI STATE
Damn, son. Just … damn. Prescott had some yards against that tough Alabama defense, but not enough points.
Last week: 22-43, 300 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT; 26 carries, 14 yards
Season: 222-343, 2,651 yards, 18 TDs, 2 INTs; 112 carries, 432 yards, 7 TDs
1. BRANDON ALLEN, ARKANSAS
Allen has played out of his mind for three weeks, saving his squad in overtime vs. Auburn, then leading his team to consecutive road wins against Ole Miss and LSU. I can’t explain it, but the dude’s on fire.
Last week: 9-16, 141 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Season: 183-284, 2,617 yards, 22 TDs, 6 INTs
