Another week of the 2025 college football season is officially in the books, and that means that the folks over at SEC Shorts have dropped another hilarious recap of all the action from around the sport’s best conference.
This week’s video features a farm where “college football things go to die.” It kicks off with a panning shot of several former mainstays of the sport that have long since faded away, including the BCS Computer rankings and even a former Dr. Pepper spokesman/mascot from the mid-2010s, Larry Culpepper.
The farmer in charge of what’s been dubbed “Going for 2 Farms” then takes a drive to see who/what has been left behind following Week 4’s action, and comes across Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and Clemson’s College Football Playoff chances.
Following this, the refs from the Auburn–Oklahoma game come strolling in, and the farmed quips that for them it’s “more about safety than anything,” taking a jab at their questionable performance in the weekend’s biggest matchup.
The video then caps off with the narrator being asked what happens to all of these college football has-beens.
“I wish I could tell you, All I know is that it’s a better place,” a character says before the camera pans over to the grim reaper patting a man in a Florida Gators‘ jersey on the back before they both walk off into the sunset.
