Shane Beamer reveals Gamecocks’ uniform combination, pregame festivities for Eastern Illinois

Coach Shane Beamer addressed what he deadpanned was the most important topic of the day — uniforms. Of course that was tongue in cheek since the Gamecocks’ named Zeb Noland as the new starter at quarterback.
“We’re going to wear white helmets, garnet jerseys and white pants on Saturday night,” Beamer said at his Tuesday press conference. “So there is your uniform reveal for the week. We are very thankful that Under Armour takes great care of us, and gives us a lot of uniform options and combinations, but we’re not going to get into every single week spending time and wasting a whole lot time as a team trying to figure out what we’re wearing on Saturdays. Let’s worry about how we play.”
Beamer also updated fans on pregame festivities.
“I’m so excited for our fans to be able to be back in Williams-Brice Stadium,” he said. “Couldn’t be more excited to be back inside a packed stadium, starting with the Gamecock Walk. We’ve missed our fans. A chance for our fans to show how much you missed our football players.”
