Shay Hodge narrates intense Ole Miss hype video for showdown at Florida

The Ole Miss Rebels have not had a more emotional win in program history than last week’s triumph over the LSU Tigers. With a bye week to begin October, today’s game against the Florida Gators sets up as a huge trap game. Based on their preview for the contest, the Rebels are well-aware of that.
Friday evening, Ole Miss released its hype video for the Florida matchup. Narrated by former wide receiver Shay Hodge, the Rebels are focused on moving past its LSU victory in search of greater accomplishments.
“Listen up. The road ain’t easy. I need your full attention,” Hodge said. “Every week is a new chapter. Keep your eyes forward. Turn the page.”
“You gotta get used to the pressure. Hostility. When the noise gets louder, you gotta block it all out,” Hodge continued. “In the face of adversity, it’s gonna test how much fight you’ve got. Keep your foot on the gas. The journey has only just begun.”
Ole Miss’ biggest game is in the rearview, but its biggest goals are still well past the horizon. And the Rebels won’t get there if they let last week’s win impact their performance in Gainesville. Ole Miss and Florida face off at 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC).
