The LSU offense will get a big boost during the Citrus Bowl, as star RB Derrius Guice will play in the game instead of sitting it out to prepare for the NFL Draft.

Guice’s coach, Ed Orgeron, certainly appreciates that the talented junior will suit up one last time for the Tigers.

During a Citrus Bowl media appearance on Sunday morning, Coach O seemingly took a shot at former LSU RB Leonard Fournette and current LB Arden Key while praising Guice’s decision to play:

Fournette sat out of the Citrus Bowl last year and Key will miss this year’s bowl game, and Coach O seemingly isn’t a fan of those decisions.

Both Fournette and Key dealt with injuries ahead of their bowl games, but Guice hasn’t exactly been healthy this year, either.

Each situation is different, but Coach O has made his stance clear on what players should do during the postseason.
