Week 10 is packed to the gills with top 25 matchups, including what was set to be one of the matchups of the day in the SEC, Georgia at Ole Miss. A rematch of last season’s College Football Playoff bout, all eyes were on Oxford heading into this one.

The result has been anticlimactic thus far. Even though the Bulldogs are playing on the road in a hostile environment, they took control early and lead 28-0 at the halftime break. Georgia has collected just under 300 yards compared to Ole Miss’ 106.

As you can imagine, social media is going crazy, as no one expected the Bulldogs to be this dominant in the first half. Here’s some of the best reactions we found from Georgia’s dominant first half.

The Bulldogs rose to the No. 1 ranking, but lost to Auburn a couple of weeks ago. Since then, the Bulldogs have responded with a big win against Florida and then a dominating first half against the Rebels.

Georgia has been especially dominant on Saturday night, running the ball. The Bulldogs physically imposed their will in the first half, rushing for 183 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. As good as the offense has been, the game being called by Georgia defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann is equally impressive. The Rebels’ defense has struggled at times, but holding Trinidad Chambliss and the Rebels’ offense to zero points in a half is next level.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has delivered some incredible moments in his career, but getting the Rebels back in this game on Saturday night would instantly jump to the top of that list.
