Some South Carolina fans are already upset with new hire Shane Beamer

Shane Beamer’s decision to finish the season at Oklahoma, instead of moving full time to starting his job at South Carolina has irritated some Gamecock fans.
The Sooners have games remaining this week against West Virginia, and Dec. 19 against Iowa State.
To some, Beamer was not at the top of a potential coaching hire list, as many pointed to his lack of coordinator experience and that he’s never hired a staff before. They would prefer he spend the next days and weeks at South Carolina, especially before the Early Signing Period begins on Dec. 16 to solidify a staff and recruiting class. Some in the Gamecock fan base wanted any of a number of a coaches from Bob Stoops, to Hugh Freeze, to Billy Napier.
