Sony Michel narrates electric Georgia game trailer for Oklahoma showdown

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are gearing up for their first true test of the 2026 campaign against the Oklahoma Sooners, who are traveling to Athens for an SEC heavyweight showdown.
This will be just the second time these 2 iconic programs have met on the gridiron, with the first coming in the 2017 Rose Bowl, a game many consider to be among the greatest in the sport’s history.
The hero of that Rose Bowl victory for the Dawgs was none other than star running back Sony Michel, who scored the walk-off touchdown that sent Georgia to their first National Championship game in almost 40 years. Given his history against the Sooners, it only makes sense that Michel would narrate Georgia’s Week 4 pre-game hype video, and that’s exactly what he did.
A 5-star recruit in the 2014 recruiting class, Michel joined the Dawgs alongside Nick Chubb and formed 1 half of the most productive backfield duo in college football history.
Across his 4 seasons with Georgia, Michel carried the ball 591 times for 3,638 yards and 33 touchdowns, both of which rank top 3 in Bulldogs history. His biggest performance in red and black was undoubtedly that iconic Rose Bowl against the Sooners almost a decade ago, when he carried the rock 11 times for 181 yards and 3 touchdowns.
That performance forever cemented his legacy in Georgia football history, and it also makes him the only choice to narrate this epic hype video for the Dawgs’ second-ever meeting against Oklahoma.
