The South Carolina Gamecocks are dealing with COVID-19 issues that have already had an impact on their nonconference schedule.

Now, it is forcing a rivalry game to be postponed, according to the team’s Twitter account.

As you can see below, the Gamecocks announced Saturday’s rivalry game against Clemson had been postponed, with plans to try to reschedule it for a later date:

Clemson broke into the AP Poll at No. 24 this week. The Tigers already have wins over 2 SEC foes — Mississippi State and Alabama.

Will they be able to make up this nonconference game? We’ll find out soon enough, but this isn’t a good sign for the Gamecocks as SEC play quickly approaches.
