South Carolina is limping into Week 10’s road game against Ole Miss, having lost three games in a row.
All of a sudden, the Gamecocks — despite a 9-4 record in 2024 — are teetering dangerously close to missing a bowl in 2025.
The Gamecocks, though, have a chance to at least play spoiler to the postseason hopes of the Rebels. Lane Kiffin‘s team enters the day with a 7-1 mark and projects to be well within the top 10 of the initial College Football Playoff rankings set to be released on Tuesday.
Ahead of Saturday night’s kickoff, the Gamecocks unveiled their uniform combination. They’ll be going with black helmets with garnet and white striping, white jerseys with garnet lettering outlined in black, and black pants with garnet and white stripes.
Take a look at the uniform combo below:
After starting the season 3-2, South Carolina has dropped decisions to LSU, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Of course, a loss to the Rebels on Saturday night will drop Shane Beamer‘s squad to 3-6. They’ll visit Texas A&M coming out of the open week before returning home to face Coastal Carolina and an equally disappointing Clemson team.
Kickoff from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
