South Carolina unveils uniforms combo for Week 2 game against South Carolina State

The No. 10-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks will kick off their 2025 home opener this evening against the South Carolina State Bulldogs in their first game in front of what’s sure to be a very raucous Williams-Brice Stadium.
In anticipation of their home opener, the Gamecocks just unveiled the uniform combo they will be wearing when they take the field for their 7 p.m. kickoff against their in-state foes on their official X account.
South Carolina will be rocking a familiar combo against the Bulldogs with their Garnet tops and bottoms, and they’ll pair it with their matte black helmets.

The Gamecocks rocked this combo once during the 2024 season during their season opener against the Old Dominion Monarchs, and now they will bring it back around against South Carolina State on Saturday night.
South Carolina has matched up against the in-state Bulldogs 3 times before, with the most being a 50-10 win back in 2022 during head coach Shane Beamer‘s second season at the helm.
Now, the Gamecocks will be looking to move that all-time mark to a perfect 4-0, and take the second step towards what they hope will become their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance in 2025.
