Spencer Rattler hasn’t had the type of season that many expected at South Carolina. But he’s making up for it tonight against Tennessee.

The transfer from Oklahoma threw 3 touchdown passes in the 1st quarter to stake the Gamecocks to a 21-7 lead over the 5th-ranked Volunteers.

In all, Rattler was 10-of-12 for 185 yards in the opening 15 minutes.

Here’s a look at his 3 TD throws:

The Gamecocks are looking to move to 7-4 on the season with a win, while the Volunteers need a victory to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.

Tennnesee was better than a 3-touchdown favorite in the game.
