Sporting News 2018 preseason All-American Teams feature several SEC standouts

The Sporting News just released its 2018 preseason college football All-American teams and the Alabama quarterback has landed on the second-team offense before he has even been declared the starting quarterback for the Crimson Tide. No other backups made this list but several players that have earned the distinction of being mentioned among the best players in the nation did.

Alabama leads the way with four total selections on this list while Ole Miss and LSU each have two players selected as preseason All-Americans by the Sporting News.
