Sports Illustrated updates SEC bowl projections heading into Week 9

The 2018 college football season is already entering Week 9, and it seems like the year is simply flying by.
There are some huge games with major College Football Playoff and conference title implications down the stretch, starting with Georgia and Florida’s matchup in Jacksonville this Saturday afternoon.
This week, Sports Illustrated updated their bowl projections, and 10 SEC teams are predicted to play this postseason.
As you can see below, Alabama is expected to make the Playoff. Here’s where the other nine teams are projected to play:

- Cotton Bowl (CFP) vs. Oklahoma
Auburn
- TaxSlayer Bowl vs. Wisconsin
Florida
- Peach Bowl vs. Ohio State
Georgia
- Fiesta Bowl vs. UCF
Kentucky
- Outback Bowl vs. Michigan State
LSU
- Sugar Bowl vs. Texas
Mississippi State
- Liberty Bowl vs. Oklahoma State
Missouri
- Music City Bowl vs. Virginia Tech
South Carolina
- Belk Bowl vs. NC State
Texas A&M
- Citrus Bowl vs. Penn State
