Gibbs rushed for 746 yards and 4 touchdowns this season as a sophomore for the Yellow Jackets, while also adding 35 receptions for 465 yards and 2 scores.
The 5-11, 200-pounder starred at Dalton High School in Dalton, Georgia, where he was rated by the 247Sports composite as the 76th-best prospect in the country and No. 8 running back in the 2020 class.
Gibbs originally picked Georgia Tech over offers from the likes of Florida, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, and Florida State, among others.
His departure comes on the heels of a disappointing 3-9 season for the Yellow Jackets.
