By now you likely know what’s at stake for Florida Saturday in Tiger Stadium. If the Gators can beat LSU on the road, Florida will be headed to Atlanta as the East representative for the second consecutive season. If not, the door bursts wide open for Tennessee to seize control of the division with a win at home against Missouri and a chance to seal a trip to Atlanta win a win next weekend at Vanderbilt.

If Florida is going to beat the odds — the Gators will enter the LSU game as a two-touchdown underdog — and win this weekend, stopping the run will be paramount to its success. Of course, it won’t be easy, as LSU features arguably the best two running backs in the SEC in junior Leonard Fournette and sophomore Derrius Guice.

In addition to facing two of the best runners in the league, Florida’s recent road woes suggest the Gators could be in for a long day:

Compounding the Gators’ issues with stopping the run on the road, the Tigers have had a great deal of success rushing the ball home this season:

In what will likely be his last game in Tiger Stadium, don’t expect Leonard Fournette to hold anything back Saturday:

If the last 14 seasons are any indication, the winner of the ground game Saturday will leave this game victorious:
