Status determined for Alabama’s Jam Miller, Tim Keenan III against Wisconsin, per CFB insider

The roster status for No. 19 Alabama is taking shape, approaching kickoff for its Week 3 matchup vs. visiting Wisconsin. Tailback Jam Miller and defensive linemen Tim Keenan III are not expected to play vs. the Badgers, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Miller and Keenan III are likely to still go through warmups, according to the report.

The 5-foot-10 Miller has yet to play this season. In 2024, as a junior,r he rushed for 668 yards and 7 touchdowns on 4.6 yards per carry. Miller is a native of Texas who has amassed 1,092 yards and 10 scores on the ground during his time with the Crimson Tide. Miller arrived in Tuscaloosa as a 4-star prospect and the No. 4 prospect in Texas, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-2 Keenan III is another senior who hasn’t had any reps in 2025 yet. The Alabama native registered 40 total tackles and 2.5 sacks last season. Keenan III has tallied 79 total tackles and 3.5 sacks in his Alabama career. Keenan III was a 3-star recruit and the No. 22 prospect in Alabama coming out of high school, according to 247Sports.

Wisconsin at Alabama is slated for a 12 p.m. ET kickoff and will be televised on ABC.
