Stephen A. Smith accidentally congratulates wrong team after national championship

We’re all used to seeing Alabama in the national championship, and 2023 was an odd year in which the Crimson Tide did not find themselves competing in the title game.
And Stephen A. Smith of “First Take” is clearly feeling the effects after he accidentally congratulated none other than Nick Saban’s team on the heels of Georgia’s 65-7 victory over TCU.

It happens to the best of us.
With Georgia projected by several analysts at this point to be the next dynasty team in college football, it will be interesting to see just how well the Bulldogs hold up in the coming years and if Alabama can make a resurgence.
