Stetson Bennett got a National Championship curtain call.

Georgia’s 52-7 lead over TCU allowed Kirby Smart to give his quarterback a special exit in his final game as a Bulldog. The UGA fans who made the trip to Los Angeles gave Bennett a standing ovation.

Bennett will certainly be named the game’s MVP. He was responsible for 6 touchdowns in the game, tying a Joe Burrow title-game record.

Bennett was 18-of-25 passing for 304 yards and 4 touchdowns. He ran 3 times for 39 yards, scoring 2 TDs.

In his second trip to the College Football Playoff as Georgia’s starting quarterback, Bennett has authored a storybook ending to his legendary Bulldog career. He led UGA to a thrilling comeback win in the Peach Bowl CFP semifinal, and now engineered a blowout for a solo curtain call as the presumptive MVP of the National Championship to give his team back-to-back titles.
