Strict new celebration protocol announced for Thursday’s Egg Bowl

Every year, the Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and Ole Miss is one of the most-intense games in college football.
These two teams do not like each other at all, and even the trophy presentation often gets contentious between the two rivals.
Now, the Egg Bowl trophy will have strict presentation rules, which were announced on Wednesday, as you can see below:

If that seems overly strict, well… that’s because it is. However, don’t expect the Rebels to follow this protocol if they emerge victorious on Thursday.
Saturday’s game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
