Tennessee and Alabama face off in Week 7 in the annual ‘Third Saturday in October’ game, and it is always a huge game. Both teams are right there in the thick of both the SEC and College Football Playoff race.
Both teams have only one loss in the season. The Volunteers lost to Texas at home, while the Crimson Tide are coming off a loss to Georgia last weekend. Before the game, the Volunteers announced their captains on social media.
The captains DeSean Bishop, Arion Carter, Jeremiah Telander and Bennett Brady.
Bishop has become one of the best players in college football. He has played especially well recently, as he rushed for 358 yards and four touchdowns.
Tennessee made news as George MacIntyre will once again be the quarterback for the Volunteers, filling in for Brandon Faizon. Faizon became the first true freshman to start at Tennessee in over 20 years, but is dealing with an injury that forced him to miss last week.
Kickoff between the two teams is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET and the game will be on ABC.
