Tennessee basketball commit boosted to 5-stars in updated recruiting rankings

Rick Barnes’ 2020 recruiting class now includes a 5-star prospect.
Various recruiting publications (Rivals, 247Sports) have recently updated their rankings for the class of 2020. As a result, 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, widely used as the industry standard and considered consensus rankings by many, have also been updated. In the new Composite rankings, Webb School shooting guard Keon Johnson, a Tennessee pledge, now has a 5-star rating.
Johnson, out of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, committed to the Volunteers earlier this month. Listed at 6-5, 180, Johnson is rated the No. 1 Tennessee product, No. 5 shooting guard and No. 23 prospect overall nationally on the Composite for the class of 2020.
