Tennessee and Oklahoma are squaring off on Saturday night in a game that has major implications when it comes to the College Football Playoff. The winner still has a good chance at making the CFP, while the loser will pick up a dreaded third loss.

The Volunteers have out-gained the Sooners 255-99 in total yards through 1 half of play, but Joey Aguilar’s 3 first-half turnovers helped the Sooners take a 16-10 lead to the break.

The fans are frustrated because they feel the team should be leading the game, and they are voicing their frustrations with their quarterback on social media.

He is 16-of-23 for 211 yards and one touchdown, but he has two interceptions and one fumble. The fumble was picked up by Oklahoma defensive end R Mason Thomas, who took it back 71 yards for the Sooners’ first score of the game.

When he limits turnovers, the Volunteers can score with any team in the country. However, with the Sooners’ offense unable to muster up anything on their own, the turnovers are the biggest reason why the score is what it is in Knoxville.

If Aguilar is able to fix the turnovers, Tennessee is more than capable of getting the win. If he doesn’t, then the chances for a return trip to the CFP are all but gone for the Volunteers.
