Tennessee’s Week 2 matchup with Arkansas State has been pushed to the SEC Network’s alternate channel at 12:00 pm ET. Tennessee and Alabama will both be playing Saturday at noon on the SEC Network, which will have its providers unveiling alternate channels to broadcast both games.
The SEC Network will also televise two games during the 4 pm slot– Eastern Michigan at Florida and Nicholls State at Arkansas — as well as two more at 7:30– Sam Houston State at LSU and Lamar at Texas A&M.
ESPN announced this week that Alabama, Florida and LSU will play on the SEC Network, while Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas A&M will have their games played on the network’s alternate or overflow channels.
As of Friday, the game will be shown in high definition on Comcast, the largest cable cable provider in the state of Tennessee. Comcast was originally planning to show the game only in standard definition, however, will now broadcast the game on HD channels, according to The Tennessean.
The Vols look to continue their early success and capture their second win of the season at home against an undefeated Arkansas State. Tennessee is coming off a 38-7 win over Utah State, while the Red Wolves captured a 37-10 victory over Montana State last Saturday.
