Tennessee lands transfer commitment from former Auburn starting CB

Kayin Lee has found a new home in the SEC.

Lee recently entered the transfer portal after 3 seasons at Auburn. On Wednesday, he elected to continue his college football career at Tennessee.

On The Plains, Lee was a multi-season contributor. He appeared in 36 games for Auburn, making 25 starts.

This past season, his junior year, Lee played in all 12 games, making 11 starts. He logged 31 total tackles, including 26 solo stops. In coverage, he had 5 passes defended, a split of 4 pass breakups and 1 interception.

Lee put up the best numbers of his career in 2024. Playing in 11 games and making 10 starts, the sophomore had 32 tackles, including 29 solo. He recorded 7 pass breakups and 2 interceptions for 9 passes defended.

As a freshman, Lee appeared in 13 games, starting just 4. He had an impressive 6 pass breakups in his debut season.

Out of Ellenwood (Georgia) Cedar Grove, Woods was a sought-after recruit. He was rated 4-stars, the No. 9 player in the state of Georgia, No. 17 cornerback and No.144 prospect overall in the Class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.
