Moi is Tennessee’s second transfer addition of the day. The Vols also earned a commitment from ex-LSU offensive tackle Lance Heard on Sunday.
Moi’s best college season to date came back in 2022 as a freshman at Stanford. That year, he recorded 4.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks for the Cardinal. He played 12 games for Stanford in 2023, but wasn’t quite as productive. This past season, he collected 15 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 0.5 sacks.
Tennessee now has 8 transfer commitments this offseason. Moi is the first defensive lineman transfer to pick Tennessee this cycle. Overall, the Vols’ transfer class ranks No. 26 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Moi was initially a 3-star recruit in the class of 2022. He will have 2 seasons of eligibility remaining in Knoxville.
