Tennessee will play its biggest game of the season on Saturday night, or at least its latest biggest game of the season, as it travels to Tuscaloosa to face 6th-ranked Alabama.

A lot will be on the line when 11th-ranked Tennessee clashes with the Crimson Tide in the 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC, with “Third Saturday in October” rivalry bragging rights at stake and the 2 teams trying to avoid a 2nd loss in 2025. On Friday afternoon, a little over 24 hours before kickoff, Tennessee announced the 4 players who will be leading the Vols into the all-important SEC game as captains.

This quartet of Volunteers will have some added responsibility on Saturday night beyond the normal tasks of trying to get Tennessee past Alabama for a 2nd straight season. Last year in Knoxville, the Vols knocked off the Crimson Tide, and on Saturday night they’ll be trying to do it again led by captains Bennett Brady, Arion Carter, Miles Kitselman and Jaxson Moi.

Brady is a junior long snapper for Josh Heupel‘s team. Carter is a junior linebacker who already has 57 tackles this season, 20 of them solo, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.

Meanwhile, Kitselman is a senior tight end who has 19 catches for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns this fall. And Moi is a senior defensive lineman who has been derailed by injuries this season but has played in the Vols’ past 2 games against Mississippi State and Arkansas. He made 2 tackles in each game, and now on Saturday night will have that captain tag on him as he and his teammates try to slow down the surging Crimson Tide.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa.
