Tennessee does not have a full-time head coach at the moment, but that’s not stopping Volunteers assistants from working to fill out UT’s 2021 recruiting class.
Northeast Mississippi Community College wide receiver Andison Coby announced his commitment UT on Friday via his Twitter account. The commitment comes two days after landing his Tennessee scholarship offer, his first from a Power 5 program. Tee Martin and Jim Chaney recruited Coby to Rocky Top, per his 247Sports profile.
Coby told Ryan Callahan of GoVols247 that he’ll be arriving in Knoxville on Sunday ahead of classes on Monday.
Listed at 6-2, 180 pounds, Coby does not have a 247Sports JUCO rating. He also had offers from Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Louisiana-Monroe and Western Kentucky. Coming out of American Heritage-Delray in Florida in the class of 2020, Coby had offers from Cincinnati, FAU, Syracuse and others.
