50-0. It doesn’t get much more decisive than that.

The Texas A&M Aggies are 1-0 on the year following their decisive win over Missouri State on Saturday evening. Led by Marcel Reed and a strong run game from Rueben Owens and Carsyn Baker, the Aggies controlled the Bears from start the finish.

The first score of the game was a connection that Aggie fans are never going to get tired of. Reed connected with Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton for a 19-yard score. The below score was Horton’s first reception as an Aggie:

His first touchdown, but far from his last in College Station. Horton led all Aggie receivers on Saturday with 4 receptions for 76 yards and the above touchdown.

Mario Craver had a nice outing against the Bears, too. Considered one of the best receivers in the SEC entering the 2026 season, Craver totaled 5 receptions for 41 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Aggies dominated the time of possession in this one, keeping the ball for 43 minutes and 3 seconds. Across those 43 minutes, the Aggies only turned the ball over once and converted 7 of their 14 third-down attempts.

Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed had a good first game, by his own evaluation. The senior quarterback completed 21 of his 30 passing attempts for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns. He spoke postgame about his performance:

The Aggies are set to be back in action next weekend against Arizona State.
