The No. 6 Texas A&M Aggies are off to their best start to a season in recent memory, as they currently hold a 4-0 record and are firmly in the mix for their first appearance in an SEC Championship game.

This elite start to the 2025 season has led to the Aggies’ dedicated fanbase, affectionately known as the 12th Man, packing out Kyle Field and turning up the temperature to a fever pitch during home games.

Week 6 has the potential to become the most electric A&M home game of the season, as the program just announced via their official X account that their 7:30 kickoff against the Mississippi State Bulldogs will be a “blackout” game.

Dubbed “Operation Blackout,” the Aggies have encouraged their fans to wear black for their matchup under the lights against the Bulldogs, and the post also suggests that the players themselves will be wearing their all-black alternate uniforms.

Blackout games always turn up the level of intensity inside a stadium to an entirely different level, and A&M does a blackout better than just about anybody else in the nation.

As such, it will be tough for Mississippi State to walk into Kyle Field and find any success with 102,000 screaming Aggies fans decked out in all black bearing down on top of them for the duration of the matchup.
