Things are heating up for Buzz Williams on the recruiting trail.

A week ago, Texas A&M picked up its first 2020 commit from Nederland, Texas shooting guard Hayden Hefner. On Sunday, another in-state prospect became pledge No. 2.

iSchool Entrepreneurial Academy (Lewisville, Texas) C Jonathan Aku has announced his commitment to the Aggies. The 6-10, 210-pounder is a 4-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite, rated the No. 6 Texas product, No. 20 center and No. 117 prospect overall nationally in the 2020 class. He chose Texas A&M over 17 other scholarship offers including Arkansas and LSU. He planned to stay close to home, including Houston, TCU, Texas Tech and Tulsa in his final five. Brain Perroni of 247Sports reports that Aku could potentially re-classify to the 2019 class.
