Texas A&M fans upset with Reggie Bush’s snub in hypothetical expanded CFP
By SDS Staff
Published:
Reggie Bush is not popular in the Lone Star State.
The former USC standout is an analyst on FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” pregame show. When discussing the hypothetical of a College Football Playoff expanded from four to eight teams, Bush showed the following as his field:
- Alabama
- Ohio State
- Clemson
- Oregon
- Oklahoma State
- Notre Dame
- Florida
- BYU
As you might expect, that didn’t sit well with Aggie Nation. On Twitter, Bush was reminded numerous times that Texas A&M defeated Florida earlier this year, 41-38. At least Aggies fans have Associated Press Top 25 voters on their side. The AP Top 25 currently has Texas A&M at No. 5 and Florida at No. 6.
Here’s a sample of the tweets calling out Bush:

How tf can you possibly justify having OK state over TAMU https://t.co/3W8GHyAgA8

A&M beat Florida. would beat Ok. State again easy. They would run for 300 yards against BYU and Oregon. This list is awful https://t.co/Dw24VtHAu8

if only there was a way to see which team was better between A&M and Florida
and, just in case
a common opponent
but that’ll never happen https://t.co/6koy38b1UG

I don't know why this has to be repeated so many times, but Texas A&M (5-1) quite literally beat Florida (4-1). https://t.co/2sn14PQfMg

How the hell could you put Oklahoma State in there? Or Florida over A&M? Makes no sense https://t.co/8JrxwzirX9

IF I SEE ONE MORE CFP BRACKET THAT PUTS FLORIDA OVER A&M I’M GOING TO LOSE IT. https://t.co/tfhYYaJmI6
