Texas A&M added an elite talent to its 2027 recruiting class on Thursday afternoon.
The Aggies have landed 5-star linebacker Kaden Henderson. He chose Texas A&M over numerous other top programs, including Notre Dame and LSU.

Henderson is one of the best prospects Texas A&M has landed in the Mike Elko era. He’s the No. 22 overall player and the No. 1 linebacker in the 2027 recruiting class, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also ranked as the No. 3 player from the state of Florida.
Henderson took an official visit to College Station earlier this month. He initially earned an offer from Texas A&M way back in January of 2025.
Henderson attends Tampa Jesuit High School in Tampa, Fla. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 218 pounds.
Henderson’s commitment gives the Aggies 6 prospects who are rated as 5-star recruits in the Composite. Texas A&M has the No. 1 overall class in the nation for this upcoming cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
