Texas A&M started slow against Arizona State in Week 2, but eventually settled in and pulled away for the 48-20 victory on Saturday.
It wasn’t a pretty day for the offense, as Marcel Reed threw for only 163 passing yards, but three touchdowns. The real struggles came trying to run the ball, as they rushed 35 times for only 92 yards. While the offense struggled, the defense stepped up when it was needed by forcing 4 turnovers.
Marco Jones and Julio Humphrey both returned interceptions for touchdowns in the second half, as the Aggies outscored the Sun Devils 31-10 after the break.
The Aggies host a Kentucky team that lost 45-17 to Alabama on Saturday, and betting markets expect the Aggies to get another big victory against the Wildcats.
Texas A&M enters the game as a 15.5-point favorite at home, with the over/under listed at 48.5 points, per Circa Sports:

Kentucky is in a new era, as former Oregon offensive coordinator Will Stein is now the coach at Lexington. The Wildcats couldn’t have asked for a better start against the Crimson Tide, as Mi’Quise Humphrey-Grace made an incredible diving interception to score a touchdown. Kentucky was leading the Crimson Tide 17-13 at the half, but got outscored 32-0 in the second half.
Stein has the optimism extremely high, but being able to bounce back after that tough second half is going to be a big challenge for the Wildcats against a great Texas A&M team.
