College Station will be hosting what may go down as the biggest sporting event in its history when Texas A&M welcomes Miami for an opening round clash in the College Football Playoff on Saturday, and the Aggies hope to be fully healthy when doing so.

Ahead of the game — which is set for a noon ET kickoff — A&M released its first availability report Wednesday night, and the Aggie faithful were likely encouraged by what they saw.

Linebacker Scooby Anderson and safety Bryce Anderson, two key pieces of Mike Elko‘s defense, were both listed as ‘probable.’ But what may have had Texas A&M fans even more excited was the fact that running back Le’Veon Moss was listed as ‘questionable.’

The senior out of Walker, Louisiana, ranks third on the team in rushing despite not having played since A&M’s 34-17 win over Florida back on Oct. 11. Moss has missed the last 5 games after he averaged 5.6 yards per carry and found the endzone 6 times in as many contests to start the season.

In 2024, Moss ran for 765 yards and 10 touchdowns on 6.3 yards per touch as one of the featured backs within the Aggies’ offense.

If Moss is able to suit up, he will join sophomore Rueben Owens (team-high 618 yards) in taking on a vaunted Hurricanes defensive front.

A&M is a 3-point favorite, per bet365.
