Texas A&M unveils special end zone design for Arkansas game

Formerly a preseason College Football Playoff contender, Texas A&M has fallen from grace to sit at 2-2 through the opening month of the season.

Looking to spark some energy within its fans and players, the Aggies are set to debut alternate camo uniforms when they host Arkansas on Saturday, and they’ll be decorating Kyle Field to match.

The end zones in the stadium will be designed with tan/green camouflage to coordinate with the team’s threads, although the TAMU faithful are just hoping their team can find these painted areas more often than it has in recent weeks.

To that point, the Aggies have scored just 20 points in their last 6 quarters of action, with both of those games resulting in defeats. After Marcel Reed and the offense dropped 98 combined during the first two contests, the beginning of SEC play has appeared to stymie a unit that was hoping to take major steps forward this fall.

College football fans have enjoyed poking fun at the end zone designs, and the team practically set itself up for jokes when it posted a graphic teasing the paint job with blank end zones earlier this week, prompting many to make their own guesses.
