Texas and Oklahoma will renew the Red River Rivalry in Week 6. This game often has postseason implications for both teams, which could be the case again this fall.

This year, the Longhorns enter the matchup as the No. 1 team in the country, while the Sooners are limping in at 2-2.

When it comes to the betting market, the Longhorns are looked at as a huge favorite. According to Kalshi, the Longhorns are a 9.5-point favorite, with the over/under being set at 40.5 points.

The Longhorns were on a bye in Week 5, with their last game being a 20-17 win at Tennessee in Week 4. The defense was the story of the game that day, as the Longhorns finished with 10 sacks. While his penalty was the big talking point that day, Colin Simmons finished with 5 sacks in the game. The defense is as good as there is in college football, and that could be a bad sign for Oklahoma.

The Sooners were also on bye, but they lost 41-13 in their last game at Georgia. The Sooners’ offense has been an issue for the past couple of years, and this season has been no different. Oklahoma hasn’t been able to find any consistent running game, and John Mateer has been turning the ball over at an alarming clip.

Kickoff from Dallas is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
