Texas got out to a big lead against Ole Miss on Saturday night, as the Longhorns took a 24-3 lead to the half. Ole Miss began to fight back in the second half before tying the game early in the 4th quarter.
If the Longhorns are going to hang on and avoid a third straight loss, they’ll have to do so without Cam Coleman and Trevor Goosby, as both guys had to leave because of injury.

What started as such a promising season for the Longhorns has gotten a lot tougher recently. Not only had they lost two straight games entering Saturday night, but injuries are becoming a major issue. Star running back Hollywood Smothers was out before the game, while superstar edge rusher Colin Simmons is also out due to injury.
There are still a lot of tough games remaining on the Texas schedule, and the Longhorns are going to have to get healthy if they are going to remain in the SEC and College Football Playoff race.
