Texas Tech trolls Mississippi State after Liberty Bowl with callback to Mike Leach pregame tweet

Texas Tech heard Mike Leach loud and clear. Earlier this month, Leach tweeted about both teams being known for bells (cowbell, victory bell). The Mississippi State coach unsurprisingly declared MSU’s cowbells would be the louder of the bells.
I just heard that cowbells will be allowed at the Liberty Bowl for our game on December 28th. Texas Tech has a bell that they ring but ours will be louder!

Texas Tech had something to say about that after Tuesday night’s 34-7 blowout of the Bulldogs in the Liberty Bowl.

At least Tech’s Twitter team did not bring up the money Leach feels he’s still owed by the school.
