Texas WR Cam Coleman makes insane catch during fall camp practice

Texas was aggressive in the transfer portal this offseason, landing former Auburn wide receiver Cam Coleman as arguably the top overall player to change schools this offseason.
It remains to be seen whether Coleman will ultimately live up to the hype in 2026 for the Longhorns. But if fall camp is any indication, Coleman seems to be settling in just fine in Austin.
On Saturday, Texas shared a practice highlight that shows Coleman hauling in a spectacular catch. The pass was off target, but Coleman was able to reach back behind his body and snag the ball with one hand. Not only that, but Coleman landed on his feet and was in position to make a defender miss after securing the pass.

Coleman has long been considered one of the nation’s most talented wide receivers, though his production at Auburn never matched his reputation. In 2025, Coleman caught 56 passes for 708 yards, good enough for 19th among SEC pass catchers.
With better quarterback play and a more efficient offense, Coleman could put up numbers that rival even the nation’s most prolific wide receivers in 2026.
Texas will open the 2026 season against Ohio State in Week 2.
