Tim Tebow to join ‘Good Morning America’ for weekly segment

Tim Tebow has landed another job.
The former Florida Heisman Trophy winner turned SEC Network analysts will join Good Morning America starting Monday. Tebow will serve as a contributor and will help launch GMA’s “Motivate Me Monday” series, which showcases stories of triumph from people across the country.
According to an ABC press release, Tebow will do both studio and location shots.
His expanded role within the Disney/ABC company comes just weeks after making his SEC Network debut on the network’s flagship program SEC Nation. The former NFL quarterback has impressed viewers and critics alike and has shown improvement since the show’s debut.
Tebow made his first appearance as an analyst during ESPN’s coverage of the 2014 BCS National Championship game, nearly picking the final outcome correctly.
This week, Tebow will make his return to his old stomping grounds as SEC Nation broadcasts live from Gainesville, Fla. Tebow spent four years at the University of Florida where he won two national championships (2006, 2008) and became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy (2007). He ended his collegiate career with 9,285 passing yards, 2,947 rushing yards and an SEC record 145 total touchdowns (88 passing, 57 rushing).
Tebow was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. In his second season, Tebow guided the Broncos to an AFC West division title and a 29-23 upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2011 AFC Wild Card playoff game. His last official NFL regular season appearance came in 2012 as a member of the New York Jets
