So far this season, Bo Nix has been phenomenal. Nix has the Tigers off to a 5-0 start and is coming off a 335-yard performance against Mississippi State.

Auburn next opponent though is a little bit more challenging. It is the Florida Gators in the swamp.

With Florida returning healthy starters in CJ Henderson and Jabari Zuniga, the Tigers might throw in a wrench to Todd Grantham’s game plan.

That brings in Joey Gatewood, the talented 6-foot-5 233-pound quarterback from Jacksonville.

Florida legend Tim Tebow believes Auburn could utilize him in similar situations that made him a household name more than a decade ago.

“It adds an element,โ€ Tebow told Josh Vitale of the Montgomery Advertiser lastย week when the “SEC Nation” crew visited AU. โ€œI think itโ€™s pretty clear-cut, the roles, and that helps, too; Bo being the guy, but then giving Joey a package where heโ€™s invested every week. Itโ€™s meaningful, and sometimes, if you take advantage of your package, it can be more. It can be meaningful plays like touchdowns, and I think that helps keep him involved and helps the team.โ€

With the game expected to be tight with two good defenses, Gatewood could be the X-factor that pushes Auburn to a 6-0 record.
