LSU fullback Tony Carter explains his ‘GATA’ tattoo

Those in the know are well aware of what Tony Carter’s “GATA” tattoo stands for but when asked about it during his recent media availability, the junior from Valdosta, Ga., gave another explanation.

“Get after them aggressively,” is what Carter said the tattoo stood for as he showed it off for the media in attendance.

However, according to Jacques Doucet of WAFB in Baton Rouge, “Get after their asses” is the actual meaning behind the tattoo.

That’s exactly the attitude that led to Carter appearing in 12 games for LSU during his sophomore season and working his way into a leader for the Tigers offense.
