Gone are the weeks filled with cupcakes across the schedule and college football fans looking for more than one decent matchup to watch on Saturday.

This week, there are four matchups featuring teams in the new Associated Press top 25.

Two of those matchups feature teams from the SEC as there is likely to be a major shakeup to the top 10 of the polls, and an elimination likely from the College Football Playoff consideration.

  • #1 Alabama at #24 Texas A&M
  • #7 Florida at #5 LSU
  • #6 Oklahoma vs. #11 Texas
  • #10 Penn State at #17 Iowa

Both Alabama and Texas A&M are coming off bye weeks ahead of the game in College Station. The Crimson Tide have won six straight in the series, including last year’s 45-23 decision. That game will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Alabama is a 13-point favorite in the game. Alabama leads the all-time series 9-2.

Florida’s trip to Baton Rouge got a big boost of hype thanks to the Gators’ upset against Auburn, and the announcement from ESPN’s “College GameDay” that it would be on campus to preview the matchup, which will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Tigers are 3.5-point favorites. Florida has won two of the last three meetings, including last year’s 27-19 result in Gainesville. Florida leads the all-time series 33-29-3.

The Oklahoma-Texas game will kick off at noon ET on Fox, while Penn State and Iowa will meet at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. Both of those are 5-0 teams (Oklahoma and Penn State) against one-loss teams (Texas and Iowa.)
