The SEC had a hugely successful bowl season โ€” setting a record with eight conference wins โ€“ and with one game still to play, the conference is has a shot at bringing home another national championship, which would be the league’s eighth since 2007.

Here are some of the best plays from bowl season in the SEC:

Texas Bowl – Texas Tech defenders back away from Leonard Fournette

I canโ€™t blame these guys for this.

Birmingham Bowl – Auburn turns away Paxton Lynch and changes the game

For as well as Auburnโ€™s defense played in Wednesdayโ€™s Birmingham Bowl, there was a moment at which it might be undone โ€” Memphis was driving and facing 3rd-and-goal at Auburnโ€™s 6-yard line.

They didnโ€™t threaten again.

Citrus Bowl – Razzle dazzle for 6

Florida didnโ€™t look great on New Yearโ€™s Day, but their one touchdown was pretty sweet.

Belk Bowl – Prescottโ€™s sendoff

Not a โ€œplay,โ€ but Dak Prescottโ€™s heartfelt ovation from Mississippi State fans at the end of a record-breaking performance against NC State was a highlight of bowl season.

Outback Bowl – Dobbs, Hurd eviscerate Northwestern

Youโ€™re on notice for 2016, SEC.

Sugar Bowl – Laremy Tunsil and the Fat Guy Touchdown

Yup.

Taxslayer Bowl – The Wild Dog

This game was kind of a slog, until UGA found some Magic from Terry Godwin.

Cotton Bowl – Meet Calvin Ridley

Officials waved off this TD at first, but the decision was overturned on replay.

The touchdown broke the game open; one possession later, Ridley buried the Spartans with a 50-yard TD reception.

Bonus shot from this game: Nick Saban and C-Murder

But, please, please, PLEASE, nobody tell him the lyrics to this song.

Liberty Bowl โ€“ Love me some Alex Collins

The Razorbacks running back puts the exclamation point on a record-setting season.
