Top SEC performers from first day of 2018 NFL Combine workouts

Friday was the first day of workouts for NFL hopefuls at the league’s annual combine in Indianapolis in anticipation for the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft. While not every position group participated in the drills on Friday, all running backs, offensive linemen and specialists were scheduled to open the latest edition of the league’s annual pre-draft event.

We’ve rounded up the top performers from the SEC in five of the measurements used by NFL scouts and management at the combine to evaluate prospects: 40-yard dash time, bench press, vertical jump, three-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle time.

Here are the top performers out of the SEC from the first day of the 2018 NFL Combine:
