Transfer portal class rankings have been updated by ESPN.

The SEC put 3 teams into the top 10 of all incoming transfer classes nationwide: Ole Miss, Auburn and LSU.

Ole Miss’ class, led by quarterback Spencer Sanders, is the No. 6 class in the country per ESPN. In addition to Sanders, the Rebels have also pulled in a pair of high-profile receivers in Chris Marshall (Texas A&M) and Tre Harris (Louisiana Tech) to help bolster that position.

Lane Kiffin and his staff also picked up numerous potential contributors on the defensive side of the ball.

Auburn’s class comes in at No. 7 on ESPN’s rankings. In Hugh Freeze’s first transfer cycle, he and the rest of the Tigers’ staff did a great job of picking up players who can help immediately in 2023.

The Tigers’ class of transfers is led by a trio of offensive linemen (Gunner Britton, Dillon Wade and Avery Jones) who should be able to make an early impact. Auburn also picked up several highly-productive offensive players, led by former Cincinnati receiver Nick Mardner, as well as some notable defensive additions as well.

LSU’s portal class also cracked the top 10, coming in at No. 9. Brian Kelly’s 2nd transfer portal cycle as a head coach was a successful one as LSU was able to add former Oregon State linebacker Omar Speights to help anchor the defense. Ex-Syracuse cornerback Duce Chestnut could also be a Day 1 starter for the Tigers in the secondary.

Colorado was ranked No. 1 in the transfer portal rankings by ESPN.

The transfer portal window will open again in the spring, so programs will still have more time to make additions before the 2023 season begins.
